"Don't sleep on this place! Delicious Latin flavors served up by friendly staff, polite and accommodating despite our atrocious Spanish! They hustled to serve up piping hot, large portions. Chicken was served HOT and moist, rice and beans perfectly seasoned. Tostones and cheese turnovers were nice vegetarian options. Absolutely scrumptious passion fruit custard for dessert. Support this very reasonably priced, authentic, family run business."

"De La Rosa Los Sabores is truly a treasure — a beautiful, family-run Dominican restaurant that radiates warmth, flavor, and love in every detail. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed like family. The ladies who run the counter are incredibly kind, genuine, and full of joy — they embody the very best of Dominican hospitality and heart. The food? Absolutely mind-blowing. I ate enough for 2.5 men in one sitting because it was that good! The aromas alone had me salivating before my plate even hit the table — and it tasted every bit as amazing as it smelled. The pernil was perfection: crispy skin, tender and juicy meat that melted right off the bone, seasoned with so much depth and soul. The rice was a gorgeous, fluffy orange, and the plantains were perfectly sweet and golden — just like the lovely women who prepared them. Even though I’ve since moved out of town, I think fondly of this place often. It was one of the highlights of my short stay in Springfield, and I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. The leadership and staff here have created something truly special — a cozy, welcoming atmosphere paired with food that nourishes both body and spirit. Whether you speak English or Spanish (or like me, enjoy a bit of both!), you’ll feel right at home here. Thank you, De La Rosa Los Sabores, for an unforgettable and heartwarming experience!"

"Went here on a Friday night with a couple friends and we were pretty happy with it. The place has a relaxed, family vibe and it smelled great as soon as we walked in. I ordered the mofongo with chicken and it was filling and had good flavor, maybe just a little salty for me but still enjoyable. My friend got the pernil and kept saying how tender it was. Service was friendly, not super fast but they checked on us enough. Prices felt fair for the portions. I’d come back again when I’m craving Dominican food."
